Gurney’s Newport Resort and Marina is currently seeking a Director of Food and Beverage. Gurney’s consists of 257 beautifully appointed guest rooms, 30,000 square feet of event space, and three food and beverage outlets. The hotel is only minutes from the attractions of downtown Newport, and is the only resort-style hotel in the area.
The Director of Food and Beverage directs the food and beverage operation and staff. Oversees food ordering and preparation, catering and contracts, creation and coordination of menus, and compliance with all applicable laws.
Requires highly developed customer service and management skills.
8+ years of food and beverage management experience.
Prior experience as a Hotel Food & Beverage Director highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
