Position Summary:
The primary purpose of the Director of Facilities is to lead an assigned team of technicians for Millcraft Hospitality, ensuring that all activities are completed for maintaining properties within the portfolio. This can encompass a variety of mechanical and building trade categories including: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and refrigeration among others. The position will also be responsible to maintain records and files, complete and process paperwork, review contracts and oversee routine maintenance performed by the team and hotels.
Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Management of Daily Maintenance Activities
- Prioritize & plan daily activities for Maintenance Department, including fulfillment of work orders, safety inspection activities, long term projects, and preventative maintenance
- Allocate personnel & resources for maximum efficiency
- Ensures work orders are completed in acceptable time frames
- Assisting the entire staff and management team in maintaining Brand standards
- Work with General Manager & Corporate Team on a daily basis to assure the hotels are properly maintained at all times.
- Ensure that hotel staff is trained in emergency procedures including fire panel operation
- Maintenance Program Management
- Select and implement Utilization Maintenance Tracking Software
- Build sustainable Maintenance Program
- Review contracts and coordinate process for bidding and contracting of supplies & services
- Implement & Maintain Preventive Maintenance Program in rooms and for large equipment
- Monitor preventative maintenance program in order to maintain properties in the most cost-efficient way while tracking guest scores
- Direct & maintain pool program
- Participates fully in team meetings and activities, including policy formulation, development planning, team management, and problem resolution; disseminates information among team members

Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent required along with vocational related course work (i.e. plumbing, carpentry, electric wiring) and a minimum of 4 years experience in construction or maintenance management. Associate’s or Technical Degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and be insurable under the Authority’s plan.
