Catering and Event Sales Manager
Catering and Event Sales Manager Requirements:
Responsible for responding to all catering and event inquiries as well as prospecting and closing business that positively impacts hotel revenues.
Responsible for event planning, site inspections, food and beverage negotiations and group room rate negotiations.
Responsible for accurately producing all Letters of Agreements for weddings, socials, and corporate events, and banquet event orders while working closely with other hotel departments to help facilitate execution.
The Catering and Event Sales Manager is a liaison between client and operating departments to ensure a successful event and to generate repeat business. He/she will ensure proper collection of funds for groups and events, both directly with the client and with the accounting team and will produce weekly sales-related reports.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Catering and Event Sales experience in a luxury hotel
Thorough knowledge of food and beverage
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, self-confidence, and professional maturity
Must remain current with industry and hospitality trends
Must possess a passion for excellence, exemplifying the service culture and guest experience.
Available to work a flexible schedule (days, nights & weekends)
Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
