Located in the vibrant NoMad district of New York City, Hotel Park Ave offers a blend of historic charm and modern luxury. This lifestyle hotel features newly refreshed guest rooms and a redesigned lobby, providing a curated space for guests to relax and embrace the bold.

As the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to attract and secure group bookings. This role requires a proven track record in group sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare customized proposals for group bookings, outlining packages, rates, and services.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
  • Utilize CRM software to track client interactions and manage sales pipelines.
  • Monitor and analyze group sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive group sales strategy aligned with the hotel's overall business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets to maximize group bookings.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop annual group sales budgets and revenue forecasts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with event planners, travel agencies, corporate clients, and other group booking decision-makers.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination of group events.
  • Ensure all group sales activities comply with hotel policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Significant proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills in problem-solving.
  • Ability to acquire, maintain, and influence relationships with stakeholders, customers, vendors, and investors.
  • Knowledge of the luxury/lifestyle hotel sector.
  • Effective conflict and change management skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications for the location role is based.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary:$95,000 per annum
