Job Overview:

As a Valet Parking Attendant and Bell Attendant, you'll warmly greet guests, securely park and retrieve vehicles, assist with luggage, and respond to guest needs to ensure a smooth, luxurious arrival and departure. As the first point of contact, your professionalism and attention to detail set the tone for the guest's stay, reflecting the hotel’s high service standards and commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Guest Arrival Experience:

•Provide the first point of contact with a warm and welcoming greeting to guests as they arrive at the hotel. Your attitude and actions directly influence the guest’s initial impression of the hotel, contributing to their sense of being valued and anticipated.

•Assist guests with unloading luggage and offer personalized help, such as directions, recommendations, and other services. By promptly attending to their needs, you ensure that the guest feels comfortable and well-cared for upon arrival.

•Park and retrieve vehicles efficiently, demonstrating a high level of care and respect for guests’ property. This professionalism sets a tone of reliability and high service standards.

Vehicle Management:

•Safely and securely park and retrieve vehicles while keeping track of parking details and maintaining an organized system. The promptness and accuracy with which you manage guest vehicles ensures a seamless experience.

•Drive various types of vehicles, including high-end and luxury cars, with care, demonstrating competence and reliability in handling the vehicles entrusted to you.

Safety & Security:

•Ensure the safety and security of all vehicles, making sure they are parked in designated areas and that keys are properly stored.

•Monitor the area for any safety concerns, reporting any issues or irregularities to the appropriate hotel personnel to protect both guests and vehicles.

Guest Assistance:

•Address special requests, assist with large or unusual vehicles, or provide information about the local area, making each guest feel uniquely attended to.

•As the first point of contact upon arrival, it is important to be proactive in meeting guest needs, providing them with a sense of luxury and comfort from the very beginning of their stay.

Communication:

•Keep in close communication with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to ensure smooth vehicle arrivals and departures.

•Efficiently relay information about vehicle status to both guests and hotel staff, ensuring a seamless transition from arrival to check-in.

Guest Experience:

•Ensure that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and respected during their arrival experience. Your role is key to creating a lasting first impression, which is critical for the overall guest experience.

•Go above and beyond in making guests feel like they are arriving at a high-end, exclusive environment—demonstrating hospitality and the luxury services the hotel promises.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

•Maintain a tidy and professional valet area, ensuring the environment reflects the high standards of the hotel.

•Occasionally clean the exterior of the guest’s vehicle, offering small touches that enhance their overall arrival experience and demonstrate attention to detail.

Shift and Uniform Requirements:

•Adhere to scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evening hours, in line with the hotel’s operational needs.

•Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the hotel’s grooming and uniform standards, ensuring that every guest interaction reinforces the luxury experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

•Prior experience in valet parking or customer service, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end service environment. Experience with handling luxury or high-performance vehicles is a plus.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.

•Professional driving abilities with an excellent driving record, including experience with both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

•Ability to multitask efficiently, handling high volumes of vehicles while maintaining a high level of service.

•Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs.

Physical Requirements:

•Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift luggage and personal items.

•Ability to operate various types of vehicles and handle physical tasks related to the role.

•Attitude: A strong commitment to customer service, with a proactive, positive, and guest-centric approach. The ability to remain calm and efficient during peak times is crucial to ensure an outstanding arrival experience.

Working Conditions:

•The role may require working in outdoor weather conditions, handling varying temperatures or environments.

•Shifts will include evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on hotel occupancy and guest needs.
