Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement a full calendar of engaging activities for both children and adults, including but not limited to arts & crafts, beach games, wellness classes, scavenger hunts, and seasonal events.

Supervise and lead the Activities Team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance oversight.

Collaborate with other departments (F&B, Spa, Housekeeping, Front Office) to coordinate resort-wide initiatives and events.

Ensure the daily cleanliness, safety, and presentation of all outdoor recreational areas, including the five pools, game areas (e.g., chess boards), beach, and surrounding grounds.

Maintain an active presence throughout the resort, regularly walking the property to inspect and ensure all activity areas and outdoor amenities are in top condition.

Serve as the primary point of contact for guest recreation feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve programming and service.

Promote and communicate daily activities through resort literature, staff, and guest engagement.

Partner with local vendors, entertainers, and instructors to enhance guest offerings.

Monitor inventory and budgets for supplies, uniforms, and equipment related to activities and recreation.

Be able to walk long distances and remain on foot for extended periods, spending the majority of the day outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management, or related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in hospitality, recreation, or entertainment programming, preferably in a luxury resort setting.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Energetic, creative, and guest service focused.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
