The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and issuing incoming goods. The Storekeeper pays close attention to detail and immediately identifies any discrepancies between the order and the delivery. If unusable products are delivered, the Storekeeper ensures that the F&B Cost Controller and Head Storekeeper are informed. Additionally, the Storekeeper receives and transports incoming goods to the appropriate storage areas while adhering to HACCP and Health & Safety standards. The Storekeeper records and manages the flow of goods and is responsible for first-line maintenance of the immediate work environment and tools.

Receiving & Storage

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods following HACCP and Health & Safety standards.

• Verify deliveries against orders and report discrepancies.

• Organize stock using the FIFO principle. 

Order Picking & Distribution

• Collect and prepare internal orders.

• Verify quantities and resolve discrepancies.

• Deliver goods to departments when needed. 

Administration & Inventory

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements.

• Conduct periodic inventory counts.

• Ensure timely and correct documentation. 

Warehouse Maintenance

• Keep storage areas clean and organized.

• Identify and report equipment issues.

• Dispose of packaging materials properly. 

Key Competencies

• Clear communication & confidentiality.

• Proper FIFO system usage.

• Compliance with HACCP standards.

• Maintaining an orderly warehouse.
