Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance on workplace issues, policies, and procedures.
- Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote employee engagement through initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work culture.

Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate recruitment efforts across three locations, ensuring timely and efficient staffing processes.
- Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and extend job offers.

HR Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits as required.

Performance Management:
- Support managers in performance evaluation processes, providing tools and guidance for constructive feedback.
- Work with management to address performance issues and support employee development.

Training & Development:
- Assist with assigning training via our training platform that enhance employee skills and development.
- Encourage continuous learning and provide resources for professional growth.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, including payroll administration, benefits enrollment, and maintaining employee records.
- Support the annual review process, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.

Health & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and promote a safe work environment across all locations.
- Conduct safety training and participate in safety audits.

Location Oversight:
- Manage HR functions for three locations, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures while accommodating the unique needs of each site.
- Travel between locations as needed to maintain effective HR support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with HR software and systems.
- Ability to travel to three locations as needed (this position can be domiciled at Sun Outdoors Orange Beach or Sun Outdoors New Orleans North Shore located in Ponchatoula, LA).

This is a full-time, year-round salaried position working at Sun OutdoorsOrange Beach located in Orange Beach, AL or Sun Outdoors New Orleans North Shore located in Ponchatoula, LA.
This position typically follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. However, flexibility in scheduling is required as the individual may need to work some weekends and holidays, due to the nature of our business in the hospitality industry.
