Dining Room Attendant - Pool Bar

Serving as a cornerstone of northern Atlanta’s newest mixed-used community, the Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta is the official hotel of the Atlanta Braves and located within steps of SunTrust Park as well as premier office space, the Coca-Cola Roxy music venue and a variety of shopping and dining.

Our luxury hotel features 16 floors with 264 rooms including 28 suites, over 20,000 square feet of meeting space and can accommodate business travelers, families on vacation and everyone in-between. To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Food Runner, and Dining Room Attendant services.

• Must have complete knowledge of service times and menu.
• Must have complete knowledge of floor plan, table numbers, and seat numbers.
• Deliver food to correct tables according to ticket, floor plan, and seat numbers.
• Always inquire if additional service is needed from guests upon delivery and inform server or manager.
• Clear and disinfect tables before, during, and after service.
• Think clearly, quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions.
• Ability to perform the job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effective.
• Complete all side duties as assigned.
• Must minimize breakage.
• Set up and breakdown of buffet according to time allotted.
• Maintenance and replenishment of buffet items. Ensure items are full at all times, clean and presentable.
• Securing all serving vehicles such as platters, butter dishes, bread knives as directed by manager.

• Minimum 1 year food runner experience/DRA experience preferred. Other relevant hotel / food & beverage experience will be considered.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers, with the ability to answer guest questions and describe menu items.
• Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills.
• Must have Food Handler Certification.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in an indoor/outdoor environment.
• Required repetitive motion of arms, hands, and legs.
