Job Function

• Understands and upholds Chico’s Mission, Employment Guidelines, Policies, Procedures, and Standards of Conduct.
• Understands and promotes Chico culture by engaging all others with a positive, enthusiastic attitude at all times.
• Is responsible for welcoming guests and explaining Buffet offerings
• Is responsible for proper, timely and professional delivery of food and drink orders.
• Is responsible for timely and courteous delivery of guest check.
• Is responsible for assisting with bussing and re-setting tables.
• Is responsible for daily opening and closing procedures.
• Is responsible for following protocol for call-in and/or covering shifts.
• Is responsible for providing Great Service to guests and team members.
• Is responsible for adhering to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Follows all safety and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Maintains the highest level of cleanliness in dining area.
• Attend/participate in all AM Dining Room Huddles and other necessary meetings.
• Accepts direction from supervisors, works cooperatively with others, and helps maintain a professional and friendly work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Requirements

• Has excellent communication skills.
• I.P.S Certified
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Has core FOH or “Customer Service” skills and training.
• Has basic knowledge of bar operations: liquors, beer, wines, cocktails, garnishes, prices.
• Has thorough knowledge of menu and daily specials. Including but not limited to: ingredients, preparations, presentation, and prices. Has ability to give informative descriptions and suggestions to guests.
• Has complete knowledge of Chico Hot Springs history and property.
• Has experience in Fine Dining and/or Food and Beverage industry.
• Able to work as scheduled.
• Able to work irregular and long hours as needed.
• Able to reach, bend, and stoop on a regular basis.
• Able to lift or carry up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to work with high detail.
• Able to kneel or squat.
• Able to work with full use of both hands.
• Able to work in heat over 80 degrees F.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
