Shift Times: Primarily 6am to 2:30pm, 3pm to 11:30pm on weekdays & weekends (subject to change based on business needs)

Job Purpose

Lobby Attendant

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cleaning and preventive maintenance program for all flooring surfaces of the hotel. 
• Clean and maintain public space areas of the hotel to a high level of appearance. 
• Keep abreast of all new cleaning procedures, cleaning products and technology that can be used in maintaining and enhancing the public space areas of the hotel.
• Work with other hotel departments to build a "team" approach to maintaining the hotel's public spaces.

• Maintain focus on cleaning projects while coping with various other interruptions.
• Ability to understand instructions, and learn procedures and techniques.
• Ability to perform routine assignments repeatedly.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• 6 months' experience in cleaning hotels and general areas.

Physical Requirements and working conditions:

• Ability to speak and hear.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Close and distance vision. 
• Frequently lifts/carries up to 50 lbs. 
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
