Being an Ambassador

As a Front Desk Attendant, you are more than just a staff member; you’re an ambassador. You’ll represent our brand and community, interacting with residents and guests daily. But your role doesn’t end there. You will proactively anticipate the needs of our community, offering personalized services to overcome challenges and meet the unique needs of everyone who walks through our doors.

Your Responsibilities

From facilitating the arrival and departure of guests, securing reservations for additional services like dog walks and fitness classes, to managing reception and storage of parcels, you’ll wear many hats. Your role will also involve providing administrative support, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and ensuring prompt action on all resident inquiries. You’ll have the freedom to operate independently, using your creativity and judgment to meet the individual needs of residents.

Required Qualifications:

  •    Minimum two years of prior experience in hospitality
  •    Higher education or vocational training in the hospitality industry is preferred
  •    Good geographic knowledge of the Ottawa area
  •    Proficiency in English, spoken and written; knowledge of a second language is desirable
  •    Comfort working with animals
  •    Strong organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  •    Proficiency with computer applications and corporate systems
  •    Ability to maintain a professional appearance, including clean uniforms with name tags
