Compensation: $60,000 to $68,000 per year
Our new! Cambria Hotel Spokane Airport is currently seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and hands on Executive Chef to maintain the property up to brand standards and Owner expectations. As part of the property team you will help us “craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns”! * Long term, short term and management of day to day Food & Beverage operations.
* Participates in the development of the hotel’s budget, marketing plan and business plans and manages within approved plans and objectives
* Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times
* Owns primary responsibility for food and beverage aspects of the P & L by controlling labor, costs and achieving budgeted POR’s
* Responsible for the development and execution of all menus for restaurant, lounge and banquets
Prepare high-quality food and beverage menu items
* Ability to maintain guest confidence through prompt and courteous communication with guests and associates
* Execute B&F to the highest quality of service to guests at all times
* Select/assist in the selection of hotel associates, completes new hire paperwork, reviews associate performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions
* Train department in all duties and empowerment needed to reach top performance levels
* Support the sales efforts of the hotel and in generating revenue opportunities
* Complete inventory, ordering and re-stocking of B&F on daily, weekly, monthly basis as required
* Cooking experience required
* Experience in back of house, front of the house and with banquet meeting space
* Successful Food & Beverage hotel management experience preferred
* Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement
* Exceptional guest service skills required
* Must possess strong computer skills
* Excellent communication and presentations skills required
* Food Handling Management Certification and Liquor Manager Certifications required
