Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is known for its exemplary company culture, authenticity to the markets in which we operate, innovation and exceptional service.  We are now searching for Global Distribution Rate Specialists to join our Omaha Reservation Center team!  The ideal candidate is detail oriented, and genuine with a service driven attitude.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday from 8:30AM - 5:00PM CST 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Load, extend and modify new hotel rates and information used to promote and make reservations in various systems (Central Reservation System (CRS), brand website, Global Distribution Systems, OTA partners (.com providers)) timely with focus on exceeding our guests’ expectations

  • Must be a self-starter

  • Capable of working independently, needing minimal supervision in-house or remotely

  • Assist with creation, modification and ending of rates various hotel offers focusing on delivery and validation on desired selling platform (voice sales, Omnihotels.com, Expedia, Agoda/Priceline, com, TripAdvisor, HotelTonight and all Travel Agents, and Tour Operators)

  • Work closely with hotels regarding information in all systems, including policies such as guarantee, deposit or cancellation requirements.

  • Conduct audits, test booking and quality checks to validate booking options and information in all systems

  • Help Travel Agents or others as needed for assistance requests as received through email, 800 calls or queue message.

  • Assist hotels with Global, Local and Leisure Luxury Accounts.

  • Assist hotels with message handling on extranet portals as needed, such as Expedia or Booking.com (not limited to)
  • Review daily the following items: Expedia Daily Report, Rate Code Report, DFO projects, Rate Parity Issues and Human Review and take appropriate action as needed

  • Maintain knowledge of rate loading systems

  • Collaborate and provide guidance to hotels on loading options and system functionality

  • Participation in Omni Hotels and Resorts Marketing campaigns as related to special offers.

  • Work closely with hotels regarding information in all systems, including policies such as guarantee, deposit or cancellation requirements.

Qualifications

Min. Qualifications – include specific work experience, licenses, knowledge, skills, & abilities needed (4-6):

  • Attention to Detail
  • Technical/Analytical Skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Critical Thinker
  • Previous industry experience is a plus
  • Self Starter with ability to work independently needing minimal supervision in-house or remotely
  • Ability to adapt to the highly complex changing work environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Time Management
  • Excellent communication both oral and written
