Assistant General Manager

The Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View is recruiting for an exceptionally talented, engaging, tenacious and passionate leader to join our team as Assistant General Manager.

Responsible for overall operation of the hotel through active involvement and support of all departments including Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering. Prior GM/AGM experience, with F&B knowledge is required. This is an executive role that has equal responsibilities in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage. Hampton Capitol View is truly a unique hotel in one of Downtown Nashville’s newest North Gulch/Capitol View neighborhoods, complete with SkyBar, Hampton’s rooftop lounge, along with 4,000 sq feet of flexible meeting space. Additional select responsibilities include:

• Financial involvement including P&L and Budget controls, A/R, City and Guest Ledger.
• Accounts Payable/Petty Cash.
• Payroll.
• Active involvement and support of all Departments.
• Ensuring compliance in all Brand standards. 
• Active Involvement in Revenue management.
• Active participation in the sales efforts and sales strategy of the hotel.
• Ability to work nights and or weekends.
