Maintenance Engineer

Description

As a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, you will maintain the physical functionality of the facility including our guest rooms, public space, heart-of-the-house areas and housing facility. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.
• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on housing facilities.

Qualifications:

• Experienced in maintenance tasks and other trade skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting).
• Must have the ability to work independent and manage own time and work load
• Ability to diagnose and fix maintenance issues
• Must be knowledgeable in HVAC systems
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. safely
• Ability to lift, bend, crouch, and stand for long periods of time
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record

This is a full-time, year-round position working at the Hilton & Housing Facility. First shift schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
