Key Areas of Focus:
Occupancy Management
- Filling short-term, long-term, and seasonal sites to maximize revenue.
- Managing pricing strategies, including dynamic pricing, promotions, and packages to attract diverse guest profiles.
- Maintaining an optimal mix of short-term, long-term, and transient guests based on the resort's business model.
Guest Acquisition
- Attracting a variety of customers, including vacationers, long-term residents, and group bookings (e.g., RV rallies, family reunions, or corporate retreats).
- Building partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and online booking platforms to expand the resort's reach.
Revenue Generation
- Developing and executing sales campaigns to meet or exceed financial targets.
- Selling additional services or amenities (e.g., event space, equipment rentals, tours) to increase per-guest spending.
- Upselling premium amenities like waterfront spots, full hookups, or VIP packages.
Customer Retention and Relationship Building
- Building long-term relationships with guests, particularly seasonal and long-term residents, to encourage renewals and referrals.
- Providing exceptional guest service to drive repeat visits and positive reviews.
Event and Group Sales
- Coordinating with the events team to book group gatherings, RV club rallies, and corporate retreats that bring additional revenue.
- Managing logistics for group stays, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
Marketing Collaboration
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotions targeting key markets.
- Leveraging digital marketing tools and social media platforms to advertise the resort’s offerings.
Community and Business Networking
- Engaging with local businesses and tourism organizations to promote the resort as a destination.
- Participating in trade shows, expos, and local events to market the resort and generate leads.
Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to key areas of focus, this position may be required to perform additional functions according to the needs of the resort as assigned by the supervisor. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct site inspections, create proposals, execute agreements, and assist in negotiations to maximize rooms revenue.
- Follow up with departed groups to ensure quality of resort experience and provide information on return visit.
- Maintain close relationships with staff members to facilitate quality guest experience.
- Assist in review of rate strategies, reporting anecdotal data from contact.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualification Standards:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales or a related role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and successfully managing events.
- Proven ability to analyze complex guest requirements, including special itinerary planning needs to provide an optimal resort experience.
- Sales software experience.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and event planning tools.
- Creative problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with RV resort operations or outdoor hospitality services.
- Knowledge of local market trends and community engagement strategies.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
- May require prolonged periods of standing, walking, or working outdoors.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
