Job Description: Sales & Event Manager/Sales Assistant

Overview:
The Perry Hotel Naples, a 160-room boutique hotel, is seeking a dedicated Sales & Event Manager/Sales Assistant to support the Sales Department and the Director of Sales, with a primary focus on group bookings and event coordination. This role combines event management and group sales efforts with administrative support, ensuring the Sales Department operates efficiently and achieves its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Event Management:
· Support the Director of Sales in developing and executing strategies to secure group bookings, corporate meetings, and social events.
· Serve as a key contact for clients, managing their needs from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
· Prepare event proposals, contracts, timelines, and budgets, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
· Conduct site visits, assist in sales presentations, and represent the hotel at community and networking events.
· Collaborate with operational teams to ensure events align with client expectations and hotel standards.
· Maintain accurate records of sales and events in CRM & Sales systems and prepare group arrival reports.
Administrative & Executive Support:
· Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and the Sales Department, facilitating smooth operations.
· Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and maintain up-to-date client records.
· Assist in creating and refining sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
· Coordinate logistics for meetings, site tours, and departmental activities.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, event planning, or administrative support within the hospitality industry.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
