Line Cook responsibilities-
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked
- Reporting to the executive chef and following instructions
- Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards
- Cleaning prep areas and taking care of leftovers
- Processing customer orders and producing meals
- Applying basic and advanced cooking techniques
- Cooking different levels of food depending on the kitchen
- Possess a current Food Handler Certification
