About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Spa Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in spa management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. As a Spa Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa, ensuring that all services are provided to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our clients. You will also manage staff schedules, train new employees, and handle customer inquiries and complaints. The Spa Supervisor will work closely with the Spa Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the overall client experience. Also, you will be responsible for inventory management, ordering supplies, and making sure that all equipment is properly maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the spa industry, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  •    Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
  •    Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
  •    Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  •    Requisition of supplies and materials
  •    Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
  •    Monitor quality and production levels
  •    May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

    Requirements

  •    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  •    Completion of a college certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience in managing a luxury spa.
  •    Exceptional guest service skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  •    Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing work environments.
  •    Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  •    Proficiency with spa/hotel software such as Book4Time, Opera, and BirchStreet is a plus.
  •    Proven leadership abilities and substantial experience in luxury retail sales.
  •    CPR certification is a plus.
  •    Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) or Esthetician is a plus.
