DESCRIPTION
The Revenue Analyst will assist in maximizing room revenue, profit, and market share for multiple resort properties by analyzing revenue data and daily management of pricing strategies. The team member will report directly to the Revenue Manager and support with driving analysis, compiling reports and developing models to support better decisions across the business. The primary functions of this role will include, but are not limited to:

REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge of transient, group, and catering customer segments.
Excellent personal management skills; time management, meeting deadlines, effective communication and presentations skills.
Understands both brand strategies and cultures.
Knowledge of revenue management techniques.
ABILITIES
Must be extremely confidential and able to manage sensitive and confidential situations tactfully.
Intermediate level Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data
Possess the ability to work under pressure and have the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent reading and effective writing abilities for completing paperwork and management reports, giving and receiving instructions, review and preparation of all documentation and training
Excellent mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, economics basics and variances
Sitting 85%; Walking 5%; Standing 5%; Bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing 5%
Travel – 10-20% travel to resort properties may be required.
EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
1-3 years of hotel experience required
MATERIAL/EQUIPMENT USED
Operate calculator, telephone, facsimile, computer and copier.
ENVIRONMENT
Prolonged sitting throughout entire shift at computerized workstation in office environment.
