Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Massage Therapist to join our Inn at Stonecliffe team for our 2025 season!  This is a seasonal position that would be from late April through late October.  The Inn at Stonecliffe was built in 1904 and is located on beautiful Mackinac Island, Michigan. For centuries, Mackinac Island has been an ideal summer vacation spot with about 1 million visitors each year and about 15,000 a day during its main tourist season.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide 60-90 minute massages to clients by appointment
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
• Take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
• Advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
• Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
• Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
• Adhering to professional ethics and standards of practice
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients

Education And Experience

• Proven work experience as a Massage Therapist
• Knowledge of various massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, etc
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to assess client needs and preferences to provide appropriate treatments
• Understanding of health and wellness benefits of massage therapy
• Certification from an accredited school of massage
• Valid state license to practice massage therapy
• Must be fully insured as a massage therapist
• Must have flexible work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
