Hostess / Host - SeaSpray Restaurant

SeaSpray restaurant @ Waterstone Resort & Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton property is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Host / Hostess to join our team!  AM Shift (7:30am - 4pm) & PM Shift (3pm-11pm) - weekends & holiday shifts availability is a must.

Job Duties And Responsibilities 

• Supervise and coordinate activities of restaurant personnel to provide fast and courteous service to guests 
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange special services for diners 
• Greet and escort guests, provide menus 
• Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness 
• Collect payments from guests 
• Total receipts at end of shift 
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

Education And Experience

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in similar role preferred
• Food Handler & Alcohol Awareness Certification preferred, or able to obtain

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Team player 
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally 
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members 
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
• Basic mathematical skills as needed to make change and give refunds
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
