Hostess- Seasonal part time

Responsible for ensuring members/guests receive friendly, attentive and efficient service in the dining room. Responsible for carrying out the philosophy and mission statement of Quail Ridge Country Club.
Receives guests, inspects, and maintains order and cleanliness
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and positive manner as required
Checks function sheets and reservations daily against room set-up and employee schedule
Ensure appearance of personnel and cleanliness in all service areas is up to standard
Assist dining room managers/front of the house managers with training of dining room staff and ongoing training as assigned
Review "specials" and conduct a daily/nightly meeting with waitresses, waiters and bus staff
Works with Clubhouse Managers and Dining Room/front of the house managers on employee policies and training procedures
Implements bar policies and food service policies assuring standard procedures are followed at all times
Handles member complaints and reports the problem to manager on duty to prevent reoccurrence
Assists with recruitment, training, and attitude of employees
Perform any duties and/or tasks that may be assigned
High school or equivalent experience preferred
Previous greeting or hosting guests
Previous hospitality experience preferred
Neat appearance and courteous manner
Punctuality and a good attendance record are expected
Provide courteous and appropriate service to our members and their guests at all times
