POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional experience in massage therapy, a positive attitude, and a passion for holistic healing. Weekend availability is essential, and experience with or an interest in Energy Healing and other holistic practices is highly preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform therapeutic massage services, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage.
• Maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and tailor sessions accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area.
• Keep detailed records of treatments and progress for each client.
• Promote wellness and holistic healing practices.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Massage Therapy License in the District of Columbia.
• 1-2 years of experience in a professional massage therapy setting.
• Liability insurance for professional services, with a minimum coverage of $2 million per occurrence / $3 million annual aggregate.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Strong ability to provide a positive, compassionate, and client-focused experience.
• Experience or interest in the practice of Energy Healing/Holistic Arts is highly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lifting 30 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Talking and hearing.
• Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
