The Dog Patch is seeking to hire a Full or Part-Time Receptionist & Pet Care Runner to join our team!

Would you love to work with dogs in a busy and fun dog daycare? The Dog Patch is a doggie daycare, lodging and grooming boutique located in Brandon, serving Brandon, Riverview and South Shore areas. We are a busy facility, looking to hire great candidates wanting to make a career in the pet care industry.

The Receptionist & Pet Care Runner works under the supervision of the Client Services Manager.

Primary Duties

1. Customer Service including answering phones

2. Reservations & Invoice Processing

3. Pet Check-in Processing includes running dogs

4. Receiving and delivering dogs from pet parents

5. Team communications & updates

6. Placing dogs in playgroup or rooms as assigned and providing water

7. Answering emails & correspondence online

8. Social media posting

9. Administrative tasks as needed

Other Job Duties

Minimum Experience, Skills, Certification or Academic Background Required:

- High school graduate or GED preferred

- Good oral & written communication skills

- Previous work experience demonstrating dependability

- 1-2 year's experience providing client service & processing payments

- Self-motivated, independent worker

-  Ability to work in a team environment

- Good decision and problem-solving skills

- Good organization and planning skills

- Demonstrated flexibility and proven coping skills

- Must have completed in house training programs

Pay Rate: Hourly

Schedule:

4-8 hour shift

Monday – Friday & Weekends

Work authorization: United States (required)

Language: English (required), bi-lingual is beneficial
