JOB DESCRIPTION

The Front Office Manager oversees all front office operations, ensures exceptional guest service, and maintains efficient hotel operations. This role includes managing front desk team members, coordinating guest services, handling escalated issues, and providing guest experiences that meet Hilton’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and Train Staff: Manage, train, and support the front desk team members, ensuring that all staff provide outstanding service to guests.

Guest Relations: Act as the main point of contact for guests, addressing complaints and requests and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and billing processes.

Ensure Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Revenue Management: Collaborate with sales and revenue management teams to maximize occupancy and revenue, assisting with room allocations and upselling strategies.

Budgeting & Financial Management: Assist in managing the front office budget, including labor costs and inventory control for front desk and pantry store supplies.

Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak and non-peak times.

Maintain Communication: Ensure effective communication between departments to provide seamless guest experiences.

Technology: Utilize hotel property management systems and other software tools to monitor bookings, payments, and service delivery.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in front desk operations, preferably within the hospitality industry. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is required.

Skills:

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Proficiency with the Hilton Property Engagement Platform is required.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment:

The position requires flexible work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to work on-site and interact directly with guests and team members.
