 Job Overview

Find fixes, workarounds, and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Duties And Responsibilities 

• Provide technical (Help Desk) support to learning management systems users. 
• Advice and help in the implementation of technology during curriculum development.
• Develop and support methods and procedures for synchronous technology adoption into curriculum (video conferencing, Voice over IP, Chat) 
• Develop and create documentation and support materials for curriculum and instruction technologies.  
• Maintain learning management systems, including course content and enrollment data. 
• Provide remote troubleshooting solutions for computer or operating system issues that affect course delivery. 
• Provide remote troubleshooting solutions for computer or operating system issues affecting course delivery: light design and programming related to file transfers or automated scripting.
• Work closely with other departments to collaborate on IT projects. 
• Train other staff and stakeholders on technical issues as needed. 
• Provide technical support to web conferencing system users.   
• Analyze complex computer systems, identify problems, and develop and implement logical conclusions and practical solutions. 
•  Develop and recommend cost-effective technical system improvements.  
• Operate a personal computer and manage servers using program applications appropriate to assigned duties. 
• Repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings
• Assist new hire training for basic IT needs.
