Belfair POA is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to lead the continuous education, training, and professional growth of our food and beverage associates. This role is essential in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality guest experiences while enhancing staff skills, knowledge, and overall performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, with a focus on driving excellence through effective training programs, coaching, and staff development initiatives.

As a hands-on, interactive leader, you will train associates, be present and forward-facing with our membership, and assist in restaurant operations. Your active engagement and leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Training Program Development

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs for food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and managers.
• Continuously update training materials to align with industry best practices, trends, and company standards.
• Develop onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new hires are fully integrated and meet service expectations.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure all team members adhere to food safety, hygiene, and service quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage leadership to implement and maintain service protocols and procedures.
• Monitor staff productivity, and address performance issues through coaching and targeted training.
• Assist as a manager in our Food and Beverage outlets as needed.

Team Collaboration And Communication

• Work closely with department heads and managers to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain clear communication channels with all levels of staff to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Foster a positive and motivating environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.

Guest Experience Improvement

• Regularly assess guest feedback to identify areas where training can enhance the guest experience.
• Create training initiatives that focus on delivering exceptional customer service and consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Food and Beverage experience; preferably 3+ years.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Hospitality driven with the ability to train and lead a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
