Housekeeping Turn Down Attendant

The Turndown Attendant Employee FOH is responsible for the cleaning of guestrooms, including making of the beds, cleaning of the bathrooms and changing linen and amenities. This employee is (during the evenings) responsible for turndownservice, when the room will be prepared for the night.This employee is constantly working in the above areas and therefore, is expected to indicate which areas need extra cleaning or extra supply of items.

This role has close relations with other departments, such as; Engineering (to report defects) & F&B (to clean the different outlets) and with the other subdepartment within Housekeeping. The employee is aware of the correct procedures for separating garbage and is able to follow instructions accurately.

Your responsibilities:

• Making the beds and changing the linen
• Cleaning and dusting the room, including vacuuming and mopping the floors
• Thoroughly cleaning the bathroom, including the shower, bathtub, sinks, and disinfecting the toilet Removing trash and used dishes
• Replenishing bath linen and amenities such as towels, soap, glasses, and toilet paper
• Handling small guest requests and arranging items in the room
• Conducting turndown service, which includes closing curtains, opening beds, changing bath linen, restocking amenities, and taking out trash
• Cleaning public areas both inside and around the Pulitzer Amsterdam premises

Job requirements:

• Able to work different shifts between 14:00 and 22.00 hrs. on weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The employee is willing and able to assist within another department in Pulitzer Amsterdam, if the business requires.
• Physically strong; capable to stand/walk an entire shift & physically capable and willing to carry/lift equipment, like extra beds, vacuum cleaners etc.
• Able and willing to clean rooms or public areas if is need.
• Communicative: able to communicate in English
