The line cook prepares food to order according to our recipes, procedures, quality expectations and speed levels. The starting rate of pay is $18.00/hour. Pay will be commensurate with experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains stock (restocks) cleans & organizes work area. Prepares food according to procedures and standards; within allowable time guidelines. Responds to all guests’ special requests. Safely operates equipment (determined by position). Practices proper & safe food handling, storage, receiving, stocking & rotating procedures

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Food items are prepared for guests according to our standards of quality, consistency and time lines and in doing so all cleanliness, sanitation and safety standards are maintained. This in turn will continue to create new business and avoid guest complaints.

Requirements

Lifts and carries sacks, boxes & product up to 25 lbs. from floor to above waist level, approximately 20 feet sometimes involving stairs. Stands or walks during the entire 8-10 hour shift. Hazards include but are not limited to cuts, burns, slips, trips and falls.
