Director of Wellness

The Westmoor Club is seeking a Director of Wellness to create and manage an exceptional wellness experience for our members.  This is a full-time, year-round position with competitive pay and a full-time benefits package.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the club's wellness programs, ensuring members have access to a range of services that promote their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This is a hands-on role that involves a blend of strategic planning, staff management, and member engagement to deliver a top-tier wellness experience.

The Wellness Center operates year-round serving members in the peak summer months of June to October and the local community through a winter membership program operating in the off-season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and oversee the ongoing development of wellness offerings unique to the Club, including overall concept definition, market positioning, and compelling communications.
• Along with Wellness Operations Manager and Fitness Operations Manager, recruit, train, and supervise wellness staff, including fitness trainers, spa providers, and concierge staff.
• Consistently engage with department leaders, team members, and Club members to keep wellness top-of-mind at the Club.
• Develop and manage the wellness department budget with CFO.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth through wellness center services and programs.
• Foster a culture and attitude of innovation, continuous improvement, and forward thinking as it relates to wellness services.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and resources, ensuring adequate levels for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years senior level operating experience in a wellness organization (spa, resort, club).
• Experience in structuring, marketing, and implementing wellness activities, programs, and packages.
• Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments.
• Experience with reporting, budgeting, and project management.
• Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
• Experience developing strong hospitality-oriented training programs.
