General Manager On-Call

About the Company:

The Candlewood Suites Bordentown NJ is a beautiful recently renovated 90-room extended stay hotel. We completed a hotel renovation to include the lobby, market and guest rooms.

We are seeking a highly motivated leader as an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business, including staff supervision, customer service, and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

- Training of hotel staff

- Over see day-to-day operations to maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction

- Continuous Hiring, training, and managing staff members

- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

- Monitor inventory levels and control costs

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly

- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods

- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures

Skill Set:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Minimum knowledge of Opera Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS)

- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager role - Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service

- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Time Management and Organization Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $60,000.00 per year but is negotiable based on experience level
