Host / Hostess - The Nolen Rooftop Bar & Lounge

As a Host, you are responsible for the overall first and last impression our guests receive and ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met. This is the job where you get to excel as the personal representative of the Nolen by giving guests a great impression of excellent service and high standards.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

• Greeting guests as they walk in the door and thanking them as they depart.  
• Walking the guests to the tables as they arrive. 
• Assigning reservation to tables before they arrive as to have a good plan for the shift. 
• Assisting the servers with clearing and cleaning the tables after the guests depart. 
• Running food to tables as needed during busy times. 
• Ensuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness

Job Qualifications:

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement 
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
