Hostess Part time year round
- Responsible for ensuring members/guests receive friendly, attentive and efficient service in the dining room. Responsible for carrying out the philosophy and mission statement of Quail Ridge Country Club.
- Receives guests, inspects, and maintains order and cleanliness
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and positive manner as required
- Checks function sheets and reservations daily against room set-up and employee schedule
- Ensure appearance of personnel and cleanliness in all service areas is up to standard
- Assist dining room managers/front of the house managers with training of dining room staff and ongoing training as assigned
- Review "specials" and conduct a daily/nightly meeting with waitresses, waiters and bus staff
- Works with Clubhouse Managers and Dining Room/front of the house managers on employee policies and training procedures
- Implements bar policies and food service policies assuring standard procedures are followed at all times
- Handles member complaints and reports the problem to manager on duty to prevent reoccurrence
- Assists with recruitment, training, and attitude of employees
- Perform any duties and/or tasks that may be assigned
- High school or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous greeting or hosting guests
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Neat appearance and courteous manner
- Punctuality and a good attendance record are expected
- Provide courteous and appropriate service to our members and their guests at all times
