Job Summary: The Resort Manager at Ocean Place Resort & Spa is responsible for overseeing the daily resort operations, guest services, and overall experience at our luxury resort. This leadership role demands a highly organized and customer-focused individual with the ability to manage diverse teams, maintain high standards of service, and drive profitability while ensuring a world-class guest experience. This is a full-time, management position with a primary responsibility of overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of the hotel. The Resort Manager will work closely with the Resort General Manager & the Executive Team to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and profitability. This individual must have a passion for exceptional guest service and be able to lead a team to deliver a memorable experience for guests.

  • Responsibilities:

- Oversee all Operational Departments of the Resort & Spa to deliver a “World Class” Guest experience and financial result.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals and improve guest

satisfaction
- Manage and mentor a team of associates, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure a high level of service is provided to all guests, addressing any issues that may arise with professionalism and efficiency
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality and cost control
- Maintain and update hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure consistent service standards are met
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a working knowledge of market trends, competition, and industry developments to make strategic decisions
- Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed to provide a safe environment for guests and employees
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the hotel and increase revenue opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Resort General Manager.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Resort Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Luxury Resort Leadership position in the

hospitality industry with knowledge of all Resort Operational Departments.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proven track record of achieving financial goals and improving guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and budgeting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software

- Experience with managing Housekeeping, front office to include gift shop, engineering, F&B department, Security, Grounds and Spa.

- Prior Luxury Resort Experience in Daily Resort Operations.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
