The Ludlow Hotel is looking for a full-time front desk agent, 40 hours per week. You will be responsible for handling all duties of the front desk, including but not limited to assisting guests with their reservations and concierge requests, logging and tracking deliveries and packages and quickly responding to guest queries. The schedule will vary from week to week; flexible availability including holidays and weekends is a requirement. Saturdays & Sundays is a must. After 90 days in the position, you will be eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance with a standard employee contribution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service oriented
Ability to maintain a sense of organization & prioritize in a busy environment
Comfortable interacting and engaging in conversation
Flexible schedule to include weekends & holidays as dictated by business demands
Multi-lingual skills highly desirable
Previous hotel & hospitality experience highly desirable
General Duties:
To provide first class Front Office customer service, and to endeavor to exceed customers’ needs & expectations
To be fully competent using the Micros Opera system.
To be well groomed at all times and adhere to uniform standards.
To arrive at work on time for your shift as scheduled.
To assist in resolving customer concerns & complaints in a timely fashion.
To maintain regular & effective communication within the team by using the Logbook, traces system, meetings & e-mail.
