Director of Sales / Assistant General Manager

Hampton Inn Mahwah is seeking a driven and experienced Director of Sales/Assistant General Manager to lead our team! Located in the heart of Mahwah, New Jersey, our hotel is celebrated for outstanding service and modern accommodations. What You'll Do:

• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to hit revenue goals and boost occupancy. Stay ahead of market trends and competitors.

• Client Relationships: Build lasting partnerships with key clients, corporate accounts, and partners. Ensure swift and professional handling of inquiries.

• Revenue Management: Leverage Hilton’s GROW and Delphi systems to analyze data and spot growth opportunities. Implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue.

• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the GM to maintain daily operations, keeping quality high and guests happy.

• Budget & Profitability: Assist in crafting the annual sales budget, keeping costs in check while boosting profitability.

• Marketing: Partner with the marketing team to create campaigns that elevate our online presence and reputation.

• Reporting: Deliver insightful sales reports and recommendations to senior management.

What You Bring:

• Proficiency in Hilton Sales systems (GROW, Delphi) is required. Familiarity with PMS (PEP) and Microsoft Office is a plus.

• Proven experience in hotel sales management, preferably with Hilton properties.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and client relationship skills.

• Knowledge of revenue management techniques.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
