Crimson Reserve at the University of Alabama is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Landscape Manager. Crimson Reserve is a brand new 9-hole golf course and practice facility currently under construction. Planned opening date is September 2024. Every effort is being made to make this the top college golf facility in the country. The limited access golf course is being built for the Men's and Women's Golf teams as well as a small number of donor partners.
This position is to oversee all the landscaping around the Clubhouse building and the entrance road coming into the property.
Key Responsibilities Of The Landscape Manager
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
- Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
- Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications For The Landscape Manager
- Candidate must have prior landscaping experience.
- Able to direct and participate in the construction and maintenance of the grounds; and performs related tasks as required.
- Designs landscape plans for facility grounds and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of that plan.
