Housekeeping Leader

Our Hyatt Place Newark Silicon Valley is currently seeking an Housekeeping Manager(hourly). As the Department Leader, you will help us *craft inspired workplaces that enable our Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns !* This could be the perfect opportunity to advance your career with a growing and exciting hotel management company!

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Oversight and motivating Housekeeping staff
• Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department.
• Train staff on Hyatt Quality Service
• Plan and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping staff including scheduling and ordering supplies.
• Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that health regulations, safety standards and departmental policies are being met.

Education And Experience

• Housekeeping and supervisory experience required.
• Hotel industry experience a plus.
• Experience working with the Hyatt Family of brands a plus
• Must be a hands-on manager.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Individual must have a great deal of flexibility in schedule due to business needs
