Ascent Hospitality is seeking a dynamic area sales manager to grow our winning team!

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Team at our newly opened Home2 and TownePlace Suites hotels in West Lafayette, IN, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales and business development. This role requires exceptional prospecting and closing skills to achieve company objectives while ensuring outstanding customer service. Previous Marriott sales experience is preferred.

Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market presence.
  • Outside sales calls.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee account management activities to maximize revenue from existing clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and enhance brand awareness.
  • Use CI/TY, STS, and Delphi tools to track sales performance, forecast, and report.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and make data-driven decisions.
  • Extensive experience in outside sales and business development strategies.
  • At least 1 year of Marriott or Hilton Sales Experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in account management practices to drive client satisfaction and retention.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes and techniques to effectively close deals.
  • Familiarity with CI/TY, Delphi, STS, and other hotel software for effective sales tracking and management.
