THE ROLE:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the exceptional team at Park Hyatt Chicago. In this key role, you will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across our guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring they reflect the luxury and sophistication our brand is known for. You will lead, inspire, and develop the housekeeping team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring every guest enjoys the impeccable, Forbes-rated service we pride ourselves on. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed inspections, mentoring staff, managing schedules and inventory, and addressing guest requests with efficiency and professionalism. By working collaboratively with departments such as Front Office and Engineering, you’ll ensure seamless operations, while maintaining compliance with Park Hyatt’s policies, safety protocols, and operational standards. Above all, you will nurture a culture of excellence, ensuring that Park Hyatt Chicago continues to exceed guest expectations and exemplify the epitome of luxury hospitality.

WAGE INFORMATION:

The hourly rate for this position is $27.00. This position is also eligible to earn overtime and premium pay under certain circumstances.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury environment.
• Previous experience working in both non-union and union environments.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in a hospitality setting.
• Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Must have physical stamina to lift, push and pull, moderate amounts of weight on a consistent basis.
• Must have the stamina to stand for a duration of an average 8-hour shift.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
