The Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar.

1. Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
2. Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
3. Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
4. Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet.
5. Monitor inventory.
6. Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
7. Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
8. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

• Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Attend monthly departmental meetings

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:

ENVIRONMENT: Indoors, dimly lit, carpeted, climate controlled environment.

Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery or greasy areas. Loud noise level.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years bartending experience.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
• One-year restaurant experience.
• Pleasant personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• TIPS certification required
