Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide them with a memorable dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge and offer suggestions based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Accurately input orders into the POS system and ensure timely and accurate delivery to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring correct portions and presentation.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meal and resolve any issues promptly.
• Handle payment transactions, including processing credit cards and cash, and provide change as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including resetting tables for the next guests.
• Clear and clean tables after guests leave, including removing dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Wipe down tables and chairs, ensuring the dining area is clean and ready for the next guests.
• Refill water glasses and remove any empty glasses, plates, or utensils during the dining experience.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment, including restocking napkins, condiments, and other service essentials.
• Ensure food safety by handling food items according to resort guidelines.
• Assist with maintaining the flow of service by ensuring the dining area is adequately stocked with food items.
• Miscellaneous - Other duties as assigned by supervisor or general manager

Qualifications:

• Previous server experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to multitask and take on multiple roles, including serving, bussing, and running food.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a noisy, high-energy environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Environment:

• This position operates in a fast-paced and dynamic resort environment.
• Employees will be working in a team setting, often requiring collaboration and communication with fellow staff members.
• The work area may include both indoor and outdoor spaces, subject to weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting trays and carrying food to and from tables, up to 50 pounds.
• Cleaning and setting up dining areas, which may involve bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
