Job Overview

The Assurance and Marketing Program (AMP) Assistant plays a key role in supporting franchisees and our AMP Directors, improving guest relations, and maintaining brand standards across hihotels properties. This entry level corporate role involves administrative tasks, system updates, hotel listing accuracy, and pre-AMP visit checklists. Additionally, the AMP Assistant will make proactive calls to franchisees to identify and resolve potential issues, while building quality relationships.

Key Responsibilities Guest Relations & Communication:

  • Manage the Guest Relations Inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to franchisees to identify and resolve issues before AMP calls.
  • Strengthen relationships with franchisees through regular AMP support calls.

Administrative & System Management:

  • Perform administrative tasks in CRS Synxis(knowledge preferred).
  • Maintain and update franchisee contact records in the company’s Customer Management Program.
  • Review Brand.com and OTA listings to identify missing or outdated images and content in preparation for AMP visits.

Operational Support & Compliance:

  • Complete hotel checklists for AMP Director inspections and compliance monitoring.
  • Demonstrate a general understanding of hospitality industry terms and processes to provide better support to franchisees.
  • Collaborate with the Field support team to better understand brand standards and operational challenges.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

Candidate Qualifications & Traits

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of CRS Synxis preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in records and system updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of hotel experience with operational responsibilities preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel for corporate events, annual staff meetings, and occasional field support visits.
