Job Summary:As an individual contributor on the seasonal rooftop team at Arlo Williamsburg, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and service to our guests. This position is full-time OR part-time and includes a competitive salary and benefits package. Located in Brooklyn, New York, Arlo Williamsburg offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development in the hospitality industry.Compensation & Benefits:- Salary range from $11.00 to $25 per hour, paid weekly- Seasonal position with the potential for extension based on performance- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts- Opportunity for growth and advancement within Arlo HotelsResponsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Execute the tasks listed in corresponding job description to the best of your ability- Assist guests with seating, taking orders, and serving food and drinks- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly- Maintain a clean and organized rooftop area, including tables, chairs, and decor- Prepare and serve drinks from the rooftop bar- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests- Work closely with other departments, including kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner- Attend and participate in training sessions and team meetings- Stay updated on menu items and daily specials- Other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in hospitality, in the position of interest or customer service preferred- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid alcohol serving certification- Knowledge of New York City and its surrounding areas is a plus- Food Handler’s License a plus
