Marcus StewartExecutive Chef - Whitetail ClubMarcus is a natural-born leader, he has this extraordinary ability to motivate his team to strive for their best while remaining focused on creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests. While many children grew up playing with make-believe food, Marcus Stewart was cooking real, organic, soulful food alongside his grandmother in Andrews, South Carolina. “Just like the vegetables and herbs grown on my grandparents’ organic farm, my passion for cooking is deeply rooted in my southern upbringing and nostalgic memories creating Sunday brunches alongside my grandmother,” say Stewart. In keeping with his childhood experience, Stewart’s culinary philosophy consists of a farm-to-table approach, infused with an abundance of soul. It is of this mindset that Chef has elevated the culinary scene in McCall and in his kitchen. Chef Stewart joined the Food and Beverage team in McCall in May of 2019 and brings his various experiences from Italian, French, Pacific Rim, and American Steakhouse to the intimate and very personal club setting. Creating lifetime memories for the members and their guests has been a focus and priority for him as he takes the truly customizable approach to dining, focusing on locally sourced ingredients and a farm to table approach to dining. Prior to joining the Whitetail Club, Chef Stewart oversaw all culinary operations at Vail, Four Seasons Resorts.
Scott KingExecutive Director of Culinary Food & BeverageScott King is a seasoned hospitality professional that has worked in all facets of the hospitality industry. Scott started off working for small stand-alone operations, and made his way to the corporate hotel/resort side of the industry where he has served as Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Director and Director of Operations for a variety of branded resorts throughout North America. Scott understands the importance in cultivating a culture that creates a positive guest and employee experience while incorporating authentic engaging interactions, innovative and quality product, impeccable service and foremost delivers lifetime memories for our guests and employees.
