What is a Fit Score?
There is a lot to consider when searching for a job – from salary to responsibilities and workplace culture. It’s no easy task finding a position that fits in with your lifestyle, values, and personal goals. The Hcareers personal Fit Score simplifies the search process by combining your personal job preferences with machine learning technology to recommend jobs that are the best fit for you. That means less searching and more applying to jobs that you’re qualified for and that meet your desired preferences.
Here’s what your Personal Fit Score could look like starting November 6:
How is Your Fit Score Calculated?
The Hcareers Fit Score assessment uses the following three categories to help shape your personal profile:
1. SALARY FIT
The beginning of the assessment asks you to choose your desired salary – this will ensure that Hcareers recommends jobs that are within your selected salary level. Be mindful of the average salary range of the positions you’re applying for.
Use the scroll bar to choose your minimum base salary requirement.
2. SKILL FIT
Hcareers’ skills surveys check your qualifications and experience against the skill requirements of the jobs you’re looking for. The survey includes questions focused on your interests, education, and abilities, which helps determine how suited you are for particular job openings.
Carefully read each question and answer thoroughly to ensure you receive an accurate score. Once you complete the assessment, you are given a score that reflects how qualified you are for a specific job.
3. CULTURE FIT
An important factor in how people feel about their jobs is how well the culture of the employer fits in with their values and way of life. The culture fit section of the Fit Score assessment looks to determine what workplace values are important to you.
In this section, you will be asked about your desired perks and benefits outside of salary. The final step of the culture fit survey is to input relevant experiences that will further strengthen your existing skills and qualifications.
Now that you have a personalized Fit Score, you can begin applying to the jobs you are matched with based on the above factors. Feel free to use the many filter options available to find jobs that meet various specifications, including job relevance, location, skill fit, and culture fit.
